• No more messy impressions - CEREC uses a state-of-the-art digital 3D camera to create an optical impression.
• State-of-the-art CAD software allows us to customize the shape of the restoration to exactly fit your specific clinical needs.
• Exact design specifications are sent to our on-site milling machine to create your restoration. Milling takes about 15 minutes.

LVI Training

Dr. Melnick is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the world's premier post-graduate dental teaching center for both cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Melnick is recognized as an LVI Preferred Dentist. The cosmetic techniques taught at LVI have been mastered by all the dentists at Laurel Lakes Cosmetic Dentistry.

Neuromuscular Dentistry (NMD)

NMD refers to consideration of muscle and joint status when evaluating your bite. Most people don't realize that their bite can be a primary cause of head and neck pain and dysfunction resulting in:

• Tooth grinding

These symptoms are part of a condition called Temporal Mandibular Disorder (TMD).

Soft Tissue Laser (re-contour gums)

Our soft tissue laser allows us to correct your gum line quickly, safely and painlessly. The laser immediately reseals the tissue, preventing the bleeding, swelling and risk of infection which used to accompany gum re-contouring.
